It's Wednesday...

So, Nat and I are brainstorming martini ideas for his new job. While reading the history of the Manhattan to him the following conversation occurred.

Julie: ...Whiskers? Did I just say whiskers? I meant bitters.
Nat: I knew what you meant.
Julie: Maybe I should put mine wine glass down.
Nat: NO! We're drinking!

I connected to you through another blog... You have a great blog.

Bitters are great in "old fashions" but there name is connected to the age of the drinkers for the most part.

look up "the aviation". it's a sky blue colored cocktail with bitters in it, that they invented during the 20's or whatever when air travel was brand new, and glamorous or whatever, and the drink had bitters in it.

we are having grits with cheese and Texas Pete right now. soooooooooooooo good. well, i am having mine with Pete, but jon's not that into hot sauce in his food, and hot sauce is not good for cats so kitty is having his without hot sauce too, but grits with cheese and hot sauce are soooooo good. i did not have any martinis tonight. i went to a wine tasting. we are watching parks and rec. Amy Poeler is a awesome actress. soon we will watch the BIG WEDDING on the office. my cat just stuck his head up under my armpit cuz he is happy. he liked his grits.

Miss Cheryl. You are drunk commenting! And I love it. That's ok. I just noticed the tell-tale sign that I was drunk blogging last night. I wrote, "mine" instead of "my" in the blog.
